Evil Twin Even More Jesus

Who doesn't need more Jesus in their lives? Okay, maybe you don't, but you need more of this beer in your life. For a 12% ABV it is an easy one to drink. It is heavy, but delicious. This one was very similar to Evil Twin's I Love You With My Stout, but with a bit less of a bite.

Brooklyn Black Ops

We dropped the $25 for this bottle for a celebratory occasion.  I don't know if it was worth the price.  It was on okay beer, but I wasn't so impressed I'd buy this bottle again.

Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout

This high ABV (at 10%) beer was absolutely delicious.  It was chocolatey and smooth going down.  Definitely one to get if you can.

Sierra Nevada Oatmeal Stout (Beer Camp #45)

I was a bit disappointed in this oatmeal stout.  Compared to other beers in the style, I did not get as much of the of flavors I'd expect.  It was a bit heavy and chewy to drink.  It was ok and I'd drink it again, but wouldn't hunt this one out.

Dogfish Head Bitches Brew

Not as good as the first run of this a few years back.  It tasted more like a Russian Imperial Stout than I remembered.  It was very good, just not as mind blowing as the first time I had it.  We bought 4 bottles and I definitely suggest you at least pick up at least one for yourself.

Bells Expedition Stout

We picked this one up while traveling across the country.  Definitely a great buy.  It knocked my socks off, and I drink a lot of imperial stouts.  It was delicious and amazing.  I will definitely buy this one again.

Keegan Ales Joe Mama’s Milk

This beer was delicious.  We had Mother's Milk right before it and it was a giant improvement.  This is one to try if you can find it.  The coffee taste is delicious and it's a well blended beer.

Founders Breakfast Stout

This beer was so very smooth.  And delicious.  And just yuuuuum.  If you can find this beer, don't walk by it on the shelf.  Just pick it up immediately.  You'll thank me later.  This beer is thick and filled with coffee flavor.  It's amazing.

River North Avarice

Yum.  This was a delicious imperial stout.  It was just the right amount of heavy and the alcohol wasn't overpowering.  Definitely one to try.

Great Divide Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti

OMG this beer is so good.  It is chocolaty and delicious in all the right ways.  Per the suggestion of a fellow beer lover sitting at the bar we tried mixing this with the raspberry and it went quite well.  Overall, this is a beer you should try to find and drink ASAP.

Southern Tier Creme Brulee Stout

OMG.  This is amazing.  I can't even really begin to describe how great this is.  It's sweet and dark and just overall wonderful.  It smells like mocha but finishes in a whole different delicious way.  I could seriously go for a real creme brulee after drinking this.  I suggest you really pick one of these up if you see it.  It's amazing and could be a dessert all on it's own.

Great Divide Belgian Style Yeti Imperial Stout

It's ok, but not nearly as good as the other Yetis.  Maybe it was just the style, but it definitely was not my favorite from Great Divide.  It was smooth and not harsh for an imperial stout, but seemed lacking in something.
