Rogue Santas Private Reserve

Santa's privates....errr....Santa's Private Reserve is quite tasty!  This one is a bit bitter, a little bit hoppy, and quite a bit delicious.  This is definitely a beer I'd drink again!

Rogue Brutal IPA

Not so brutal. Not as hoppy as I thought. More hop brutality would be good.  Then again, though this is labeled as an IPA, Rogue indicates the style is bitter.  I think that would have been a more accurate representation and I wouldn't have expected as much and felt so let down by this beer.  And yes, I know almost everyone else will disagree with me.

Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Maple Bacon Ale

So a lot of people call this beer a "drain pour" beer.  I don't really agree.  I wouldn't want to drink a giant glass of this.  As a matter of fact, we split our bottle 3 ways and that was the perfect amount.  I think it tastes pretty close to what the doughnut from Voodoo (in Portland, OR) tastes like.  It was definitely a worthwhile experience once, but not something I'd ever drink on a regular basis.  We have one more bacon beer sitting in our fridge and I'm excited to compare.

Rogue Double Mocha Porter

I love the painted blue bottle.  It was chocolaty and delicious.  However, even for how dark it is, it wasn't too heavy.  YUUUMMMMM....

Chatoe Rogue First Growth Pumpkin Patch

Good. Not too pumpkin tasting.  Held up well while I was aging it for the husband.  I'd drink it again.

Beer Advocate thinks this was good.
Rogue gives you some info about their beer here.
