Maui Brewing La Perouse White

It's surprisingly fruity for a wittier. Maybe that's how they brew wits on the islands. Smells better than it tastes. Drinking while watching the beach volleyball during the Olympics and I feel like the smell fits perfectly.   It was an ok beer, but not really my stle.

Maui Brewing Sobrehumano Palena’ole

Quite flowery tasting and some interesting flavors.  I liked it but I wouldn't have been sad if I didn't get to try it.  It was a bit pricey ($3 for the can), so I don't know if I'd drink it more often.

Maui Brewing Mana Wheat

This beer is ok.  I'm not a giant wheat fan.  This one kind of tasted like flowery soap to me.  I'm not sure what that soapy taste is, but frequently I think light beers taste like soap.

When I went to the description of the beer and realized there was pineapple in it, I could taste the flavor.  It's probably part of what I was tasting but not able to place until I read that.  Once I placed that taste it was less soapy and more pineapple sweet.  It still had a bit of soap taste though.

Beer Advocate calls this average.

Maui Brewing CoCoNut Porter

Do you like coconut?  Yes, then go find this beer!  This beer tastes of coconut and coffee to me.  Sometimes I don't even think it tastes like beer, but more of a delicious drink.  The carbonation is great and just the right amount all the flavors.  Try this beer!  You won't regret it!  And if you're in Maui, check out this brewery.  I feel like it's a decision you'd be happy with, even though I've never been there myself.

Here is Beer Advocate's opinion on this.
