Elysian Space Dust IPA

I love WA beers.  Even more so now that I don't live there.  This one was hoppy and delicious and reminded me of all good things Seattle!

Blatant IPA

Very nice citrus and hop flavors.  The lacing left on the glass was nice.  It was delicious and something I recommend picking up if you see it.

Mikkeller Single Hop Series - Citra

This may be one of my favorite hops.  I really enjoyed this beer and it was very easy to drink.  The hops were present, but not overwhelming.  I now know to look for more drinks with Citra hops.

Mikkeller Single Hop Series - Cluster

This one smelled very syrupy.  Not like sweet maple syrup, but it almost smelled thick.  The hops were pretty mellow in this one.  Not super impressed.

Mikkeller Single Hop Series - Centennial

This one had floaters and was slightly floral.  The taste was, yet again, familiar.  The hops had an almost fruity flavor.

Mikkeller Single Hop Series - Super Galena

This beer smells like skunk...or pot...depending on your point of view. Not as strong tasting as it smells. Smooth to drink.

Tröegs Nugget Nectar Ale

Nugget Nectar is one of those staple delicious beers.  If you like hops, if you like craft beer, you should be looking to pick some of this up.  It's good when you find it on tap, it's good when you find it in a bottle, it's just good.

Mikkeller Single Hop Series - Mt. Hood

This hop is pretty mild.  It has a distinctive aftertaste, but not necessarily in a bad way.  I enjoyed this one.

Mikkeller Single Hop Series - Bravo

Bravo! One of my favorite hops in this series.  This is the flavoring I love in some of the over the top beers that I have.

Mikkeller Single Hop Series - Warrior IPA

This hop is pretty strong in flavor.  It's a good hope with decent taste, but a bit overpowering.  In an IPA it could run the show over the other flavors.  If you're a hop lover, you'll like this one for sure.

Samuel Adams Latitude 48 IPA

This was one of the least hoppy beers in the Hopology series.  It was ok, but nothing special.  This is good for a beginner IPA drinker.  If you're a hop lover, skip it.

Samuel Adams Grumpy Monk

This Belgian IPA was easy to drink and a non-offensive IPA.  It was a good easy to drink Belgian IPA.  We got this as part of the Hopology box from Sam Adams.  Pretty much it was similar to every other beer in the box - a decent example of the type of IPA, but tasting slightly manufactured and nothing to blow your mind.  Still, it's a good box to buy if you're looking to sample some IPAs.

Founders Harvest Ale

This beer was quite hoppy and delicious.  It's definitely one to try.  Just be sure it's fresh since I imagine the wet hop wouldn't be so good after it ages.

War Horse India Pale Ale

This IPA was mediocre.  It had the slight dish soap taste that I find in some IPAs.  I've been spoiled with west coast IPAs, but this one could still use some improving.
