PUB REVIEW: Wynkoop Brewing Company

Wynkoop has pretzels.  And other tasty treats.  This is one of my places to grab a snack in a mid-day beer tasting.  Their flights are done on different train paths.  They have their own beers on tap.  And they always have a root beer, which is pretty good too.  I enjoyed my visits here and suggest you stop in while in Denver.  Just beware, the bathrooms are downstairs which can be more challenging in a day of drinking.

Ok.  It was warm and hoppy.  For a red there was a lot of flavors.  I'd drink it again.

Wynkoop Cowtown Milk Stout

I really love milk/sweet stouts.  And I hate when they disappoint.  This one wasn't a complete disappointment, but it also wasn't something that was amazingly delicious.  Just middle of the road.  I wish more people did this style well.

Wynkoop Mile HI.P.A.

This beer was just average in my book.  It was a standard IPA with nothing to stand out about it.  It's drinkable, but nothing to hunt down.

Wynkoop London Calling IPA

I hate the British.  (Don't ask, it has to deal with an ex).  But I also hated this beer.  For an IPA it was not my cup of tea.  Stupid British(esque) beers.

Wynkoop Belgorado Harvest IPA

Yum!!  This one had lovely flavors.  I really liked this one.  Definitely a nice IPA.

Wynkoop Orville

Yuck.  This was not for me at all.  The husband thought it smelled like grape.  Whatever was going on with it, I would have preferred to skip!

This is hoppy for a pale ale.  It was pretty decent for a pale.
